Change the default icons used for folders on the operating system is, without a doubt, an excellent system whereby customize its features.
There are in fact numerous and specific set of icons through which you can customize the appearance of your PC.
Some users, however, may wish to create by itself of the icons to be used in place of, for example, those in use on the operating systems redmondiani.
In order to perform the operation in question and, in particular, to be able to easily create custom icons you can resort to using x2ico, a software totally free and can be used without any problem on all Windows operating systems (both 32 -bit and 64-bit) that, in fact, allows users to convert photos and images in ICO file format, which is supported by the OS to be able to use redmondiani under foma icon.
The software supports all those who are the most common image formats, such as PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, TIF, TIFF, GIF, and lets you select different measures of output for the icons from 16 × 16 to 256 × 256.
Use x2ico is very simple because once you start you just tick the items of interest in the application window and then drag the file that you want to act.
X2ico, as it is also possible to see by taking a look at the screenshot attached an example at the beginning of the post, presents a user interface fairly simple and without frills.
X2ico is also a portable software which means that to be able to use you will not need to make any installation on the multimedia station in use and, if necessary, I can also be transported in comfort on your USB stick.
