Less than two weeks after its official launch, Microsoft has finalized the development of Windows 8 Preview Release. Announcing the news has been the website WinUnleaked that in recent months has proved increasingly well informed about the strategies of the software giant, according to which the Release Candidate of Windows 8 will have the build number 8400 and will be available in various editions.
In addition to the standard, Microsoft could release Windows 8 Preview Release also editions in Pro, Pro and Enterprise with Windows Media Center but lacking official confirmation for the time to support this thesis. While those who never fail are the screenshots: above you see one that would portray the Start Screen of the next public release of Windows 8.
Is it true? We have no reason to doubt not, in any case we will know everything in a few days. For those who do not if it were still pinned on the calendar, the Release Candidate of Windows 8 will be published in the first week of June. We do not know the exact day, but you can bet that soon even that will emerge from the corridors Microsoft.
We also hope soon to know the technical details of the system. For example, there will be the new minimalist interface for the desktop environment or there will still be "disowned" transparency of Aero to lord it in Windows 8 RP? Planned enhancements to check for errors on your hard drive will be available to all? Who knows.
And while we ask ourselves about these details probably irrelevant to someone, Ballmer and Co. might be already working on the final version of Windows 8, what is supposed to debut in stores in October.
